Each student gets one hour of sports each day. We are extremely fortunate to have a great deal of outdoor space and playing fields at NDPS. We also have a wonderful Indoor Sports complex that offers indoor cricket nets, a fully equipped badminton hall, squash courts, and a table tennis hall. The students also benefit from the professional coaches, several of whom have represented in state, national and international competitions. This is an enormous asset to us, particularly when it comes to preparing our pupils to represent the school in local, national and international events. In addition to the health benefits of regular exercise and the enjoyment our pupils find in playing sport, we also know that our Sports program is giving pupils the opportunity to gain important life skills. Qualities such as time-management, determination, commitment and initiative are developed through competing against other individuals and teams. In addition to this they also learn how to be both gracious winners and good losers.
