President's Message

Dear Reader,

New Digamber Public School is a work of a lifetime and I get nostalgic writing about it.

In a journey spanning more that four decades I have witnessed most diverse kind of students. No two students are alike and a lot of unexpected things happen. Sometimes, a naughty boy takes up a challenge and will study harder than a studious one. Sometimes a real aloof girl can just walk on the stage and will deliver a smashing speech. And a seemingly dull one will surprise you with his talent in sport or art.
Well that is how we human beings are! What we dislike today, we may end up liking tomorrow with all our heart. If our interest awakens then it brings along a conviction to become better at it. With children this phenomenon is a even more pronounced. They deliver nothing short of miracle with a little support and motivation.
Every child is born with a gift. It is a folly to disregard it even if no immediate signs are visible. The talent may be completely latent for a long time. With a little patience, affection and trust one day that gift within will be uncovered.
It is here that a teacher’s task becomes challenging. She must believe in the potential of her student for this is what she has resolved to awaken.

A school must also cherish differences and celebrate individuality.  Only then can it touch lives and transform them for good.
This has been my mantra and we tried our best to ensure that NDPS, as a school, represents it.
It is a gratifying experience to see NDPS making a special place in the heart of its pupils.
I sincerely hope that the school will measure up to the expectations of its stakeholders for many years to come.

With best wishes,
Mrs. Sindhu Mendke
President
